I would buy this again just for the door knob covers. They are the best we’ve come across and have those on the doors we REALLY don’t want our daughter to open. I wish they were sold separately. The outlet covers could be better. If our toddler put her mind to it, she would be able to get them off but, lucky for us, we started with three packs of outlet covers from safety 1st and those are a nightmare to get off. I think she assumes outlet covers are all the same. (phew!) The large latches have proved to be perfect for her dresser though they are a challenge to get off. I have no fear that our daughter will be able to get them off. Her motor skills are years away from that. The cabinet guards are a pain to install for someone who “eyeballs” where to drill the holes but they work well.Read more

So far so good it’s a decent value even though some of the items seem a bit poorly made. The locks are old school and do there job but the door nob covers are difficult to install and remove and don’t work with my particular door nobs. The small plastic piece on the end of each is also very flimsy and already broke on one of the two that comes in this set. Everything else is pretty much as advertised and works as it should. You can’t put a price on the safety of your kids so I ordered this and as much other stuff as I could find to child proof my home. I would still recommend this product despite a few flaws due to its functionality and relatively good price point.Read more

Door knob covers don’t even work, they don’t squeeze in enough to grasp and open the door. And the one that is supposed to be a cabinet lock that works similar to a zip tie, doesn’t work either, all you have to do is pull the knobs or handles hard and it pops right off, go with a more reputable brand like safety first. The only things that were usable were the plug covers and the suction cup looking clear plastic locks, they are great for my glass doors on my entertainment stand and they are low profile. So, I guess it depends on which parts in the package are most important to you, but plan on throwing the knob covers and the white plastic double door lock in the trash.Read more

It’s nice to have one kit that has so many different types of safety items included, so that you don’t have to make multiple purchases. The door knob covers are the ‘hard’ plastic and are difficult to open the doors for the adults too, especially if you have any type of lotion on your hands. The softer rubber ones are better, where you can just ‘squeeze’ the handle cover to grip the knob under it. These are hard plastic and you have to put your fingers through the holes provided, to grip the knob. This is not as easy to do as it would seem, especially if you have a knob that is harder to turn. I’ve actually found myself ‘locked out’ too and have had to remove the cover to get the door open.Read more

I bought this one and the bathroom safety set. It was well worth it. The only thing wrong with this kit is its lack of drawer catches. I have custom kitchen cabinets and the drawers in my kitchen didn’t work with the latches provided. Al of my cupboards are secure though and I love how easy it all was to set up. Totally worth the investment if your are looking for easy user friendly baby proofing.Read more

PROS:A lot of durable pieces to baby-proof your homeVery clear instructionsCONS:The doorknob part was way too big for my doorknobs. We live in a trailer so that may be part of it.SIDENOTE: You will need a drill.Read more

The product came on time and in great shape. My suggestion would be that there should be more than 2 pieces for the kitchen cabinates. The package somes with only 2 and that is not enough. AT least 4 would be good. I think if you are buying this product you should look fora accompany kit for the kitchen cabinet doors. But it works great.Read more
