The walker doesn’t raise very high, but my son is 30 inches tall and 10 months old, he still has some time before he’s too tall for it and I’m sure he’ll be walking on his own by then. The seat isn’t easy to remove for cleaning, but the material is very durable and washes well in the washing machine. The removable tray is great because baby is always snacking and making a huge mess. Also, the tray is large enough that baby won’t have his hands over the edge and smash his fingers, also he can’t reach as much stuff to get into. If your baby runs into your ankles, you’re going to be in a lot of pain! I feel that’s inevitable no matter what you buy. This walker rolls very well on our tile floors. I also like that it has a low profile base, so if baby runs the front wheels off a ledge, he can’t tumble down. My son tried to go off the porch and got stuck immediately, that’s the photo. This is an edited review, now that my baby has used this walker from ages 4 to 8 months. This is the Rolls Royce of walkers, except for its one fatal flaw – the highest height setting is inadequate to accommodate a normal sized, growing baby, and I have now had to buy a new walker. For the price, I expected to be able to use this walker as long as my baby needed one, and the quality was certainly there, so this is really disappointing. My baby is eight months old, 31 inches tall and 21 pounds. When I put her in this walker for the first time at 4 months old, the lowest height setting was already too low, and we had to use the second setting. At 5 months old, the walker went up to the highest setting. By 6 months old, we noticed that her legs were bent and bowed as she walked. By 7 months old, this had gotten really bad. I have now purchased the Safety First Sounds ‘n Lights Discovery Walker, which I hate, and which is maybe half the quality of the Joovy Spoon, but it can be adjusted higher and will give my baby another few months of use. Unless you have a premature or extra petite baby, the Joovy Spoon will be just an expensive “starter” walker, and you’ll find yourself in the market for another taller one just as the baby is old enough to really get going. For the time that we did use this, we found it necessary to remove the bumpers along the bottom. Without these in the way, the walker glides effortlessly over carpet and is perfectly stable. If only it was tall enough to continue using it. I’m really sad to have moved on, since I can’t find another one anywhere near the quality of this one. To the manufacturer – please acknowledge all the many reviews stating that this walker is too short, and please make it taller! Read more

My son was giddy when I put him in his new walker. The design is modern and simple, which I find refreshing and rare for baby gear. Another bonus was how easy it is to assemble. My one serious gripe is that you cannot lock the wheels. This is a significant design flaw in a product at this price point. If I want to sit on the sofa and feed my son in this contraption, I’m unable to keep him stationary. What’s the point of the enormous, removable tray? If I want to keep him nearby while I shower or cook, I can’t in the Joovy because he’ll roll away. Had I known this before purchasing, I would have chosen a different product. Read more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Works great! Perfect for those babies that always wants to be held and follow mommy and daddy everywhere. I use to have to put her in our ikea high chair and scoot here where ever I am but now with this I just roll her where ever I am and she is content! She likes to be able to move a bit, loves to be able to sit up in it. Through out the day she’s usually in here or her bouncy. She is 6 months, not walking yet, but slowly getting the hang of moving backwards and forwards a little. I recommend something to suction to it that can hold toys on the tray table part so they are not falling on the floor. Check out the video! Read more

I Love this walker!! I’ve been on a hunt for one for my son for sometime now and this one met my expectations, unfortunately I am on the tall side so my baby is pretty tall for his age he’s only 7 months but he is 28 ins long and this doesn’t go up high enough for him his feet are flat on the ground so sad I have to return, and now I am back on the hunt looking for a walker but just a heads up if your baby is 27 or longer I wouldn’t buy it . It doesn’t go up high enough 😢 Read more

I don’t ever write reviews but am so disappointed in this I wanted to share our problem. I read lots of great reviews about this walker so I splurged and got it over a cheaper one I was looking at. It’s super cute and sturdy but kinda heavy for baby to move easily, I’m sure as he gets older that would get easier BUT the front wheels don’t turn properly so they get stuck sideways. I have to constantly twist them so he can get going. Super frustrating for both of us. We even tried pushing it without him in it Incase it was something he was doing and they still get stuck sideways so they will not roll. I wish I would have kept the box so I could return it.
